How Does the IGP3 Vehicle GPS Tracker Device Work?
The IGP3 tracker is specially designed for electric vehicles and motorcycles. It boasts a strong tracking and anti-theft protection system. In one model, this has ACC detection, vibration alarm, and remote fuel or electricity cut-off, which can achieve full vehicle monitoring and control.
The high-sensitivity GPS chip MTK6261 will enable the IGP3 to track the location precisely with an accuracy of 5 meters or less. It enables hot start positioning in less than 2 seconds and cold start positioning within less than 38 seconds even in open sky conditions. The tracker utilizes a built-in 18mm x 18mm x 4mm ceramic GPS antenna with a sensitivity of -144dBm for optimal location detection. Besides that, it operates within GSM frequencies: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz; it has a spring antenna for reliable signal strength. A built-in GPRS Class 12 module will provide stable data transmission via TCP/IP.
Visible indicators allow for easy monitoring of the status of the device. The red LED is for power, blue for GPS, and yellow for GSM. SMS command configuration, real-time tracking both on web and mobile platforms, is possible with the IGP3. The GPRS upload interval is set at every 10 seconds for constant updates. Basic safety features include cut-wire alarm, movement alarm, and vibration alarm. It also has a geo-fencing feature wherein a custom virtual perimeter can be set.
At only 72mm in length, 31mm in width, and 12mm in height, and weighing a mere 30 grams, this is a compact and lightweight design. Operating on an extended voltage of 9V to 90V, this device withstood harsh temperatures from -20°C up to 70°C, making it perfect for any kind of vehicle. It comes fitted with a 55mAh internal battery.
