How Does IGP1 4G GPS Vehicle Tracker Work?

The IGP1 is an intelligent vehicle GPS tracker that integrates advanced 4G full netcom wireless communication technology with GPS and BDS satellite navigation systems. This capable device comes equipped with major features such as ACC detection, disassembly alarm, overspeed alarm, mileage statistics, and remote cutoff of petrol or electricity for comprehensive control of vehicle operation.

Operating on impressive hardware specifications, the IGP1 assures precise and reliable tracking. It supports multiple 4G frequency bands, including B1, B3, B5, B7, B8, B20, and B28, and 2G GSM frequencies like 900/1800 MHz, among others, which enable it to assure great connectivity across a wide range of regions. The positioning time of the device is incredibly fast: less than 2 seconds for a hot start and less than 38 seconds for a cold start in open sky conditions. It is an embedded ceramic GPS antenna measuring 25mm x 25mm x 2mm with very high accuracy at location precisions within 5 meters. The GPS sensitivity reaches -144dBm, while the tracking sensitivity goes as high as -165dBm for seamless and continuous tracking even in the most challenging environments.

The IGP1 is designed with multiple relevant LEDs to reflect clear status updates, including a red power LED, a blue GPS LED, and a yellow 4G LED. Its spring antenna strengthens wireless communication stability.

On the software side, the IGP1 offers OTA, or Over-The-Air, upgrades, making updating the device rather easy. Users can configure parameters through SMS commands or via a platform. The location data gets uploaded at an interval of 10 seconds. Devices support third-party monitoring through web or mobile apps and are able to allow real-time tracking and monitoring.

Additional security features include geo-fencing, cut-wire alarms, vibration alarms, and disassembly alarms, assuring the highest level of protection against theft. The GS10G has been designed to offer a sense of security and is ideal for both personal and fleet vehicle management.
