How Does the IGP9 4G OBDII Tracker Device Work?

The IGP9 is a 4G OBD II vehicle tracking device that targets various applications such as electronic fencing, remote tracking, and vehicle diagnostics. It found its perfect fit in car monitoring, online car sharing, and rental services. Its compact size is 60mm (L) x 46mm (W) x 22mm (H) and weighs just 56g, thus making it easy to install and securely fix in any vehicle.

It is designed with a built-in rechargeable 140mAh battery to ensure continuous data transmission to the platform terminal in case of any power outage. It also works wonderfully in a wide working voltage of 9-35V and -25°C to 75°C temperature. The IGP9 also includes the function of a disassembly alarm that will further enhance security and prevent unauthorized removal.

Hardware specification IGP9 provides: quick positioning-less than 15 sec in the case of warm start and less than 32 seconds in the case of cold start in open visible sky conditions. Utilizing an AT6558R positioning chip, its location accuracy is within 5 meters. The device has been fitted with a ceramic GPS antenna and FPC GSM antenna so it supports up to 50 tracking channels. The GPS sensitivity is -160dBm, while the tracking sensitivity reaches -162dBm.

The IGP9 is capable of OTA upgrades and configuration via SMS commands or a platform. Data is uploaded every 10 seconds via GPRS (Class 12, TCP/IP), with third-party checking both on web and mobile apps. Key security features include ACC detection, geo-fencing, low power, and alarms for device disassembly, which enable constant and secure vehicle monitoring.
